The Shiva Shell is often worn as a talisman to ward of evil. It is also know as Pacific Cat's Eye or Shiva Eye. It comes from the shallow waters of the South Indo-Pacific Seas.
The Shiva Shell is that its naturally occurring shape comes from the Turban Snail. Once the snail dies, it detaches from its shell leaving the operculum or backdoor to fossilize and leaving this beautiful pattern. This is what energetically makes this stone about letting go, transformation, and rebirth. The Shiva Shell reminds us that nothing is permanent and change is always constant. Therefore, we must be positive and welcome new energies as they emerge.
